MIDTOWN – The 7th annual Midtown Restaurant Week is Sept. 1 through Sept. 9. During this time, Atlantans and visitors can indulge in three-course dinners for $25 or $35 depending on the restaurant, and $15 prix fixe lunches. Participating restaurants include 4th and Swift, Abattoir, Baraonda, Briza, Cucina Asellina, Ecco, eleven at Loews Atlanta Hotel, Escorpion, Fig Jam, FLIP burger boutique, Gilberts, Goin' Coastal, Gordon Biersch, HD1, HOBNOB, Livingston, Lobby at TWELVE, Melting Pot, Oceanaire, Pasta da Pulcinella, Park 75, Proof & Provision, Publik Draft House, Rosa Mexicano, Serpas True Food, Shout, South City Kitchen, Spice Market, STK, Steel Restaurant & Lounge, Strip, TAP and The Nook. LITTLE FIVE POINTS – There's a $20, four-course Indian dinner at Dr. Bombay's Underwater Tea Party tonight starting at 7 p.m. All proceeds benefits The Learning Tea's House in Darjeeling, India, which sends underprivileged women to university. [EaterWire]

WESTSIDEParty in the Kitchen, the annual culinary event benefiting Open Hand, is September 6 at the King Plow Arts Center. Chaired by Chefs Kevin Rathbun and Gerry Klaskala, the evening includes cocktails and tastes from Antico Pizza, Aria, Alma Cocina, Bantam & Biddy, Livingston, Local Three, Rathbun's, SEED, Table & Main, The Optimist, Varasano's, Veni, Vidi, Vici and Watershed.
