Two Stars for Oak Street Cafe and More

This week, Jenny Turknett reviews Roswell's Oak Street Cafe for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and awarded it two stars. The cafe is a classic, a must-have for every neighborhood, and it does staples like grilled cheese and chicken salad sandwiches well. Turknett warns that a few dishes might be under-seasoned or over-cooked, but for the most part, she thinks this cozy, bistro-esque restaurant is a welcome addition to the "SoCa"— which, apparently, stands for South of Canton— neighborhood in Roswell and promises that it's the perfect place to go for both group meetings and dinners with the family.

THE ELSEWHERE AND THE BLOGS: Chow Down Atlanta eats at Sprig and says they have the best pimento cheese in town, Trucky Love on Buen Provencho and Ibiza Bites at Smyrna Food Truck Tuesdays, My Little Foodies hit the road with WOW Food Truck, Food Near Snellville gets lost and ends up at the Candler Park Fellini's, AJC's first look at BGR, BBQGeek grabs a quick bite at Grand Champion BBQ, and Creative Loafing scopes out Lure and the figgy doughnut at Revolution Doughnuts (yes, they still loves figs).
