eaterhhs86.jpegRobin Shulman will present her new book at a dinner and book signing at H. Harper Station on Thursday. Shulman uses "food to chart the city's evolution," and the book, Eat this City: A Tale of the Fishers, Foragers, Butchers, Farmers, Poultry Minders, Sugar Refiners, Cane Cutters, Beekeepers, Winemakers, and Brewers Who Built New York "shows that basic food production has always been part of the development of ... all American cities." The author will sign books at the dinner, which starts at 7 p.m. and includes a $35, three-course meal comprised entirely of food from Atlanta's urban farmers. Make reservations by calling (678) 732-0415. [EaterWire]
