Here's the word on chef Mihoko Obunai: Last night, she competed on the Food Network's Chopped and went home in the second round after cooking a dish made from too-chocolately chocolate-bunny sauce, too-spicy lamb, and potatoes, which the judges called the best thing they'd eaten all day. She also debuted her ramen collaboration with Guy Wong at Miso Izakaya yesterday evening, which, judging by the amount of Instagrammed ramen pictures, was a well-attended event.
