Following the announcement of Atlanta chef Anne Quatrano's forthcoming first cookbook yesterday, Eater got in touch with the Bacchanalia/Star Provisions/Quinones/Floataway Cafe/Abattoir co-owner to find out a little more about FEED: Celebrations in the South.
"We're thrilled to be bringing our book to print," Quatrano said. "Brian Woodcock, a friend and amazing photographer, followed us for a year and documented the food, of course, as well as the process which often included our farm, our home, our restaurants, table settings, [and places like] Lake Rabun and my cousin Frederick's lovely old barn. The book will include over 250 photographs as well as 150 of our favorite recipes."
FEED is "a very personal look into our culinary world," according to the chef. "[It] has been a collaboration of extremely talented and engaged kitchen staff as well as our creative force behind Star Provisions." It will be released in Fall 2013.
