A reliable source told Eater that forthcoming restaurant the General Muir had found an executive chef in one Todd Ginsberg, who currently heads the kitchen at Bocado. Ginsberg planned to jump ship, but apparently Bocado is now trying to make it worth his while to stay on the west side of town.
The chef has been with Bocado since the restaurant opened in 2009 and previously worked at Atlanta's Trois and midtown gastropub TAP. The General Muir is set to open in Decatur's Emory Point development at the end of this year. It's owned by the people behind popular breakfast spot West Egg and will serve traditional Jewish deli fare with a few twists.
