PONCEY-HIGHLAND— Apparently the product of paperwork confusion with the city of Atlanta, demolition work on The Somerset — a four-story, 227-unit development right on the Beltline at North Avenue and Somerset Terrace — was delayed. Project details here.

BUCKHEAD— In Buckhead's Tuxedo Park, it appears we've found an example of restrained and tasteful extravagance, but it's tough to say if the $11.5 million ask is justified.

CITYWIDE — As rents climb and vacancy rates don't, more than 4,000 rental units have recently hit the intown market or are in the pipeline — some 3,000 of those in the hot Midtown market alone. This prompts the question: Will the saturation of rental properties become a glut, followed by a bust in the mode of the Atlanta condo market circa-2008? More here.
