Here's a clip from last night's episode of the Layover during which Anthony Bourdain introduces Alton Brown to infamous stripper Blondie at Clermont Lounge, which, according to Bourdain, is "not like other strip clubs. It's operating on a whole other level." About the stripper, he says, "As a New Yorker coming to Atlanta for the first time a decade ago, everyone said there was one person you have to meet ... it's Blondie."
Bourdain tells Blondie, about whom he always speaks fondly, "You are a hardworking woman— you built this institution," to which she replies that she, in fact, "built this city." She thinks people love the lounge because "It's really down to earth, and the girls are really sweet ... This club is for the girls that are not built so great but we all have got great personality."
