Cardamom Hill's Asha Gomez to Open New Space for Events in Old Fourth Ward

Supper club host turned Cardamom Hill chef/owner Asha Gomez has a new concept slated to open this winter: the Third Space. Adjacent to Serpas in the Studioplex development in Old Fourth Ward, the space will be a place for entertaining and experimenting with food. Gomez plans to bring in chefs, writers, and other talent to conduct events like chef demonstrations and culinary classes open to the public; it can also be rented out for menu experimentation, private dinners, cookbook signings, and more. Says Gomez, "So many people have an interest in cooking, but no desire in going to culinary school." She adds that this concept will "[bridge] the gap, allowing guests to experience cooking and learning experiences in the comfort of an incredible home kitchen." The Third Space is set to open in late February.
