Jenny Turknett reviewed Bantam & Biddy for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution this week. She awards the restaurant just two stars but only mentions a few negatives: The biscuits in the chicken pot pie "could use a flavor boost," the pork schnitzel needs seasoning, and the portion size of the allegedly-family-style sides is "a little skimpy." Other than that, Turknett, who mentions liking the sides, duck fat fries, Poulet Rouge chicken, buttermilk-soaked chicken fingers, and doughnut holes, appears to be all for the restaurant, which sources ingredients locally and is appropriate for all ages.
THE ELSEWHERE AND THE BLOGS: Bill Addison gives Korean barbecue joint 678 two stars in Atlanta Magazine, the brunch burger at Holeman & Finch is the "crowning glory" of Burgers, Barbecue, and Everything Else's meal, Bella Vivere loved lunch at No. 246, Hunger Pangs in Atlanta also had a great experience at No. 246, and Atlanta Restaurant Blog enjoyed brunch at Cibo e Beve.
