Earlier this month, angry chef Ron Eyester received a cease and desist letter from McAlister's Deli. The letter informed him that he must change the name of the popular breakfast sandwich at his Morningside restaurant Rosebud— it's called The Big Nasty, which also happens to be the name of a roast beef sandwich at the national deli chain. Eyester does plan to change it— and is even soliciting recommendations for a new name— but he's having a bit of fun with McAlister's first. Below, see some of his best related tweets from over the weekend.
@McAlistersDeli We've got until Nov 4th until I have 2 sign that #CeaseandDesist. We should at least some fun with this! Can I get a follow?

@McAlistersDeli Does France know that you serve a French Dip? You may want to keep that under wraps.

@McAlistersDeli Any franchise opportunities available? I think people in Morningside would go crazy for that trademarked butterball turkey.

@McAlistersDeli Do you guys want to come down to #Rosebud for a #BigNasty before Nov 4th? Let me know, I'd be happy to make reso for you.

@McAlistersDeli If hear anyone say "SPUD" over the weekend at Rosebud, I'll be sure to escort them off the property.

@McAlistersDeli No units in New York? That's probably a good thing. You'd probably get a #CeaseandDesist for using the word "Deli"
