As part of Cocktail Week, we're exploring recent changes in Atlanta bar programs. Holeman & Finch, a mainstay, makes the Cocktail Heatmap because of its bar turnover, Ink & Elm launched happy hour yesterday, and, now, we turn to Restaurant Eugene.
Restaurant Eugene's cocktail program has stopped naming its cocktails. Head bartender Brad Tolleson explains:
We've moved away from naming drinks and started focusing on ingredients, much like a food menu. [...] We have removed drink names in order to focus on curating an ethereal menu that is perfect for each day. We want our drink list to be a response to the kitchen, the weather, the mood, and every other variable each day brings.· All Restaurant Eugene [-EATL-]
