1) Avondale Estates: Construction has started on the 8,000 square-foot space that will become Wild Heaven's brewery. ABC has photos of the ground-breaking.
2) Toco Hills Updates: Osteria Cibo Rustico will open in Toco Hills, replacing Mirko Pasta, on Monday, November 4. The casual Italian restaurant, open for lunch and dinner daily, is a collaboration between the proprietor and the co-owners of Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails and The Big Ketch; 2945 North Druid Hills Road.
3) Expansions: New restaurant Zeal just opened on Marietta's Johnson Ferry Road, and SK Restaurant Group already has plans to open a new place: This one will be a seafood spot, "similar to what Ford Fry is doing at The Optimist." Construction is set to start in March; we'll have more details as they come.
4) Buckhead: This Winter, Industry Kitchen + Bar will open in Terminus. TNT reports that it'll serve coffee, tavern fare, and grab-and-go breakfast items.
