Is Charleston's Oak Steakhouse Coming to Alpharetta?

It seems like Charleston fine dining staple Oak Steakhouse will be making its way to Avalon when the Alpharetta development opens in Fall 2014. Avalon PR confirms that the restaurant is inbound— this is also mentioned here on Instagram and here on the website— and reports that the Avalon concept should be similar to the Charleston location, helmed by Jeremiah Bacon, though it's still a little early for concrete details.

The restaurant's PR representative, however, issued this conflicting statement from partner/restaurateur Steven Palmer to Eater Atlanta last week: "Atlanta is my home town and I have often entertained coming home and opening a restaurant there.
