After a kitchen fire this summer, the team at Kevin Rathbun's first restaurant, Rathbun's, decided to renovate the space. The kitchen got a complete overhaul— the only thing from the old setup still present is the outer shell of the central stove— and interior aspects like the bar top and wine room have been remodeled as well to give the dining room a new, lighter look. Below, check out more pictures.
As for the food, chef de cuisine Nick Anderson hopes to set up a house charcuterie program soon. Two of his favorite dishes right now are the local beets with pecorino and pickled shallots and the turkey sausage agnolotti, but here's a hot tip: though dinner offerings have been revamped, in-the-know diners can still order now off-menu classic items at the restaurant.
