Osteria Mattone, the highly anticipated second restaurant from Ryan Pernice and chef Ted Lahey, opens tonight in historic downtown Roswell. Located on Canton Street, just a few doors down from sister restaurant Table & Main, the Italian eatery will be open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday in a space with a full dining room called the trattoria, a first-come-first-serve osteria and bar area, and an outdoor dining patio.
Osteria Mattone bills itself as a rustic neighborhood trattoria and will offer regional Italian fare with an emphasis on Roman dishes and the Southern hospitality for which Table & Main is known. The menu features antipasti, salumi, small plates called cichetti, pizzas, house-made pastas, and more. Head below to see full offerings and hours, or make a reservation on OpenTable.
Open Monday through Thursday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with the osteria open from 4:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.; 1095 Canton Street, Roswell; (678) 878-3378.
