The Pig and the Pearl, Di Palma's Limoncello Bar, More

1) Midtown: The anticipated second spot from The Shed at Glenwood's Cindy Shera and Todd Martin along with chef Todd Richards is slated to start serving in Atlantic Station this Spring. Construction has started at the smokehouse and raw bar, The Pig and the Pearl, which is replacing Geisha House and should open by March or April. 1380 Atlantic Drive Suite 14180.

2) "Italian Quartiere": Giovanni Di Palma's long-awaited and much delayed limoncello bar now has an opening date of Spring 2014. Look for his forthcoming Italian market to open near Antico, Gio's Chicken Amalfitano, and Caffe Gio soon and for a second Antico and Caffe Gio to open in Avalon next Fall.

3) Avondale Estates: Showcasing "a collection of family recipes inspired by American classics and comfort food," The Bishop will open next Spring at 124 North Avondale Road. Owner Luellen Marshall, who's worked on the management and operations side at such restaurant groups as Village Tavern, TGI Fridays International, and Ruth's Chris Steak House. Her CIA-trained husband will offer food and drink menus based solely off of family recipes.
