After much speculation, talented bartender Arianne Fielder has officially joined new chef Zeb Stevenson at Inman Park's Parish. "We talked about opening a restaurant together and now we're doing it," says Fielder. "As Zeb put it, nobody has brought the spirit of the [Parish] building to life. It's our goal to finally bring it to life."
She left Seven Lamps and started at Article 14 in August, then confirmed that she was leaving A14 late last month. Fielder tells Atlanta Magazine that she left the Midtown bar because "just really wanted to do more cutting-edge things that didn't fit in that restaurant."
In addition to the new chef and addition of Fielder, Parish is making some other changes: The restaurant plans to redecorate and bring more of a neighborhood feel— getting rid of the old New Orleans theme— to the spot. Look for Fielder's new drinks, focusing on innovative techniques and ingredients like her sous vide cocktails, to launch in the new year.
