The Painted Pin won in the appeal filed by the Miami City Merchants Association regarding zoning codes and parking permits. The Miami Circle merchants opposed the alley's special administrative permit and created a website to tell the world about it, but in the appeal this morning, the board sided with the alley unanimously and founder Justin Amick reports that the bowling alley has "successfully completed permitting with the city of Atlanta including SAP, building permit, and demo permit." The Painted Pin is set to open in early Spring 2014. [EaterWire]
