Popular breakfast spot Highland Bakery will open its fifth outpost and second campus location at Emory University's Goizueta Business School after winter break. Slated to start serving as early as January 6, the restaurant will replace Einstein Bros Bagels. "This is going to sort of be the higher end of dining options on campus, if you will," University Food Service Administration senior director David Furhman tells the Emory Wheel. "It's going to fill a missing piece of dining on campus."
The Wheel reports that the menu will be based off of that of the bakery's Georgia Tech location. It'll serve soups, salads, sandwiches, omelets, pancakes, and other dishes Monday through Friday, with the option of opening on weekends still under consideration. Highland Bakery also has restaurants in Old Fourth Ward, Buckhead, and Midtown.
