The night before the NFC championship, a very large man and his trainer arrived around 8:45pm. We'lI call them "athletic". I was told they had flown in from San Francisco and were only staying in Atlanta one night. In the hour and fifteen minutes they were in Holeman & Finch, they ordered:
? 2 cocktails each
? 1 bottle of zinfandel
? 6 shots of Fernet Branca
? Veal brains
? Chicken liver pate
? Pork skin noodles
? Pork buns
? Pork meatballs
? Braised turnips
? Veal sweetbreads
? Bone marrow
? 2 of the burger
They crushed the food, pounded drinks, and gave everything else away. They tipped huge. The large man kept saying over and over how Matt Ryan was going to be slaughtered tomorrow. I guess they had good karma.
