All the latest neighborhood and real estate news from Curbed Atlanta.

EMORY— Retail and dining options are multiplying near Emory University. Project leaders tell Curbed Atlanta the 80,000 square-foot retail component of Emory Point's Phase I is nearly 90 percent committed. Retailers at the $100+ million mixed-use development's first phase — a slate of local and national brands — flung open their doors last week. Still, it's being called "soulless."

BUCKHEAD— As part of Whale Week 2013, we take a trip to the "Rodeo Drive of the South" that never was, the failed Streets of Buckhead.

BELTLINE— There's drama brewing about Beltline funding, but is it anything to really stress about?

BUCKHEAD— Lest you think all Atlanta athletes favor tacky suburban mansions or mega-compounds that rival the Pentagon, have a look at departed Hawk Joe Johnson's stylish, relatively restrained and still-unsold digs. The ask is $4.7 million.
