Here's the story: Victory Sandwich Bar's management got word that they had to move out of their Elizabeth Street home by the beginning of July to make way for the new mixed-use 280 Elizabeth Street development, so they've signed a lease on the Park's Edge space.
But apparently, Park's Edge does plan to relocate. Owner Richard Wadlington, Jr. tells Eater, "Victory Sandwich is moving into this location as we move in another." Park's Edge is currently scouting three locations, and as of now, it seems as if they intend to stay on Bernina Avenue until their lease is up on November 30. That means at least five months without an Inman Park Victory, though $4 sandwiches and Jack and Coke slushies can still be found at the Decatur outpost, located at 340 Church Street in the same space as Paper Plane.
