Soon You Can Find Steady Hand Pour House atCakes & Ale and Sweet Auburn Curb Market

Starting July 2 July 9, the Steady Hand Pour House team will be running the coffee program at Cakes & Ale. Word is that the Bakery at Cakes & Ale will undergo an identity change— new menus, rearranged space— toward the end of next month, so look for this coffee switch to be the first in a line of updates.

Steady Hand will also be moving into the Sweet Auburn Curb Market. A representative for the market confirmed that they're inbound (though not quite yet); tipsters speculate that this space will be a roastery and that they'll also have a nearby cafe, but only time will tell. To recap, the coffee shop lost the lease to its Emory Village location in April, and since then owners Dale Donchey and Jordan Chambers have been hosting a series of pop-ups. You can find them currently on Saturdays at Empire State South from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Also of note: Steady Hand's first collaboration cocktail with Leon's Full Service, the yuzu- and hibiscus-infused Going Steady, is now on the Decatur bar's menu (they've also got a Steady Job Coffee Porter over at Twain's). Stay tuned for all kinds of details and do send inside information through the tipline.
