Empire builder and restaurateur par excellence Ford Fry has selected a name for his highly anticipated seafood-heavy Mediterranean restaurant. Slated to open this fall in Buckhead's former Bluepointe space on Peachtree Road, it'll be called St. Cecilia, after the patron saint of musicians. Fry describes the restaurant as a combination of No. 246 and the Optimist, his Italian spot in Decatur and his lauded West Midtown oyster bar/ and fish camp, respectively (he also owns JCT Kitchen and King + Duke). St. Cecilia's space is about 11,000 square feet, and its menu will feature locally sourced ingredients, offerings like grilled seafood cooked in a wood-burning oven, and a "dramatic" crudo bar. What do you think, Atlanta? Music to your ears? We'll have more details as they come, and as always, please send inside information through the tipline.
