We've got confirmation that Hector Santiago is the new executive chef of Abattoir. Santiago, a Top Chef alum, was the chef/owner of the much-loved Pura Vida, Super Pan, and El Burro Pollo, all of which closed in 2012. Since then, he's done a few pop-ups, and, soon now, he's taking over at Anne Quatrano's meat-heavy West Midtown spot. We'll have more information as it comes.
Update 7/24: Hector Santiago tells us that El Burro Pollo burrito pop-ups are not off the table for the future.
