Kimball House is set to open by the end of summer or in early fall in Decatur. Replacing the historic Decatur Depot, the restaurant takes its name from an Atlanta hotel that was razed in the mid-1900s. Members from local bars Brick Store Pub and Leon's Full Service are opening Kimball House. The bar program will be developed by Michael Gallagher and Leon's Miles Macquarrie, and the menu, which will showcase fresh seafood and oysters, is created by executive chefs Jeffery Wall and Philip Meeker. They've also started a culinary apprenticeship program; get details here. Below, take a look at how the restaurant's exterior has changed.
