Act Like a Kid Again at Camp Twin Lakes Benefit

New, 1 comment

Camp Fest, a benefit for Camp Twin Lakes, will be held at SweetWater on Saturday, August 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Proceeds from the event go toward helping "provide life changing, medically supportive camp experiences at Camp Twin Lakes for children facing serious illnesses, disabilities, and other life challenges." At the SweetWater event, continuous beer and wine service, live music, and camp-inspired games and activities (see: build-your-own s'mores, cornhole, obstacle course) are all included in the ticket price. Local food trucks Yumbii, Mix'd Up, Ibiza Bites, and King of Pops will be on-site as well. You must be 21 or older to attend.

Says event chair Greg Cohen, "Camp Fest is going to be the best party of the year for Atlanta's young professionals with fond camp memories who want to know that their 'party dollars' are being spent improving the lives of kids with serious illnesses and life challenges through involvement with an organization that has become ingrained in Atlanta culture over the last 20 years." Ticktes are on sale now for $35 a person. VIP tickets include access to a private, air conditioned room with catering, liquor, beer, and wine and are $60 a person. Ticket packages are also available.
