The Inman Park Victory Sandwich Bar is closing after tonight's Independence Day blowout bash, or, as they're calling it, "the most extraordinary inconceivable phenomenal unprecedented incredibly preposterous going-out-of-business fireworks extravaganza!!!" There will be fireworks, booze, and hot dogs, and the party starts at 7 p.m. today, July 4.
This Victory location, the original, is shuttering (along with Dad's Garage and other businesses) to make way for the forthcoming 280 Elizabeth mixed-use development project, which will include retail and housing. They'll relocate to the Park's Edge space this fall, and the new Decatur Victory Sandwich Bar, which shares a building with Paper Plane, will remain open at 340 Church Street.
