Since Waffle House opened in Turner Field on Friday, July 26, the Braves have played fourteen games and won every single one of them. They are first in the NL East, 15.5 games up from the second-place Nationals. They swept four consecutive series, then had an off day, then shut out the Marlins last night on day one of their current match up, being played this weekend in Turner Field. Also: Outfielder Justin Upton is on a 13-game hitting streak with 14 RBIs after the first-inning homer he hit yesterday.
The Marlins are in town through the weekend, followed by the Phillies and then the Nationals. Head out to the Ted for some scattered, smothered, (chopped) and covereds or an H&F Burger— or just watch a pretty fantastic video, below, about the Braves playing Waffle Ball.
