Kevin Rathbun Wins Chopped, Brings in $10K for Atlanta Community Food Bank

Last night, Atlanta chef Kevin Rathbun won Food Network's special "family fued" episode of Chopped. He competed against his brother, Kent, and siblings Lou and Joey Campanaro. Rathbun is the first Atlanta chef to have won both Iron Chef America— he competed alongside his brother against Bobby Flay in 2008— and Chopped. The Campanaro brothers also competed on Iron Chef, though they lost to the Forgione brothers in 2012.

Rathbun's $10,000 winnings will go to local charity Atlanta Community Food Bank. The show will reair on the Food Network on Tuesday, August 27, at 10 p.m. In the meantime, you can maybe catch the chef at one of his restaurants— KR SteakBar, Krog Bar, Kevin Rathbun Steak, or Rathbun's— to congratulate him.
