Arianne Fielder OUT at Seven Lamp, IN at Article 14

In a move that surprised many, Arianne Fielder recently left her position as bartender/"head mixtress" at Seven Lamps. Next week, she'll start as the head mixologist and beverage manager of Midtown restaurant Article 14; look for updated cocktail menus by mid-September. She tells Atlanta, "The majority of the Article 14 cocktails are classic, stirred, and masculine," she says, "But they're still going to be playful and weird—I can't tell you there won't be a cereal cocktail or a sous vide drink."

On the split from Buckhead's Seven Lamps, Fielder says the restaurant "wanted to change the leadership of the restaurant and cleaned house." She calls the parting "amicable," although she "had not planned to leave."

Update: Bartender Leo de Rivera is also leaving Seven Lamps. He'll tend bar at the Glenn Hotel before joining Fielder at Article 14; both A-14 and the hotel are Legacy Restaurant Partners establishments.
