Mihoko Obunai to Bring Lunchtime Ramen to So Ba

Mihoko Obunai is taking her ramen talents to East Atlanta's So Ba. The Japanese chef most recently served ramen at Joli Kobe, and before that she helped bring the lunchtime ramen pop-ups to Miso Izakaya. Now, starting the second week of September, Obunai— along with sous chef Andy Tran and So Ba chef Nhan Le (also of late night restaurant Octopus Bar, located at the same address)— will offer a weekday lunchtime menu of ramen and yakitori. Obunai tells Altanta Magazine that the menu will be "simple, small, [and] cheap." She adds, "Right now ramen is so happening—and I know how to do it right."
