The Steady Hand Pour House team is out at Cakes & Ale. This is the latest in quite a few changes the restaurant has made this summer. First, in May, pastry chef Eric Wolitzky left. In July, Steady Hand took over the coffee program after its Emory Village location closed and the Decatur bakery instituted an evening menu of small plates, run by popular lunchtime chef David Sweeney. Then the bakery opened on Sundays, and then, earlier this month, chef Sweeney left and the evening menu ceased.
