A brick-and-mortar outpost of Sweet Auburn Barbecue will take over the long-shuttered Pura Vida space in Poncey-Highlands, reports Tomorrow's News Today. It joins the concept's food truck and Sweet Auburn Curb Market location, and a representative for the restaurant says it should be open in four to six weeks.
Hector Santiago's Pura Vida closed at the end of December 2012 and the space has remained vacant since. Santiago is now the executive chef at Abattoir and will direct the menu at the forthcoming Big Sky Buckhead when it opens later this Winter. Do send word on this and other openings in your area through the tipline.
