The very first Atlanta outpost of LA-based Sprinkles Cupcakes and Ice Cream opens today in Lenox Square. The shop will serve cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and ice cream (in the form of scoops, sundaes, sandwiches, and milkshakes) in a range of flavors in a space right at the front of the Buckhead mall. Look for a 24-hour Sprinkles ATM on the exterior of the store; it'll dispense cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and dog treats at any time of day. A select menu is also offered until midnight Thursday through Saturday, and advanced orders, delivery, and curbside pickup are available.

Founder Candace Nelson opened the first bakery in Beverly Hills in 2005 and now has twelve locations nationwide. She'll be at the store today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Also happening today: 30 "golden tickets" redeemable for $100 gift cards are hidden inside desserts at the shop.
