Quick-serve dim sum spot Yum Bunz has closed. Affiliated restaurant Miso Izakaya posts on its Facebook page:
Yum Bunz has closed. The restaurant opened in early July of this year, then received ambivalent reviews shortly after its highly anticipated opening, one of which informed readers that the restaurant's namesake buns were not made in house but rather in a factory, then frozen and reheated on the premises. Yum Bunz took to a press release to explain the factory thing, got a slightly better review, and then closed "temporarily" in the middle of last month. And now it comes to light that instead of the revamping that was announced in December, the restaurant has shuttered for good. Leave thoughts and comments below or visit the tipline.I have learned a lot. Thank you everyone who came out and supported it.
My apologies to the ones who did not enjoy it. I will take this opportunity in the future to do a better job. I appreciate the given chance.
Like all setbacks, we must move forward. I am always grateful for the opportunities.
