Chai Pani is celebrating the Indian festival of lights.

DECATUR — Chai Pani is celebrating the Indian festival of Diwali by hosting Diwali Mela this Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Throughout the evening, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a full spectrum of food, specialty cocktails, music, and entertainment. The evening will benefit The Meher Free Dispensary, a medical clinic in rural Maharastra, India, that provides completely free medical care to thousands of Indian farmers every year. TOCO HILLS — Italian restaurant Osteria Cibo Rustico, which was located in Toco Hills Promenade on North Druid Hills Road, has closed. Chris Hadermann, John "JP" Piemonte, and Quincy Evans decided to close the restaurant due to their "numerous upcoming new ventures," according to Tomorrow's News Today.
