Gusto! Wood Fire Grill, the new fast-casual concept from former quarterback Nate Hybl, is up and running ahead of its official Friday launch date. The Brookwood Hills restaurant opened its doors Monday night and will do so again tonight from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Hybl, a native of Hazlehurst who started at quarterback for Oklahoma and went on to play for the NFL's Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars, owns the restaurant. Shawn Grodensky, former executive sous chef at The General Muir, is running the kitchen as "culinary leader." The menu offers build-your-own salads, rice bowls, sandwiches, and wraps, and a selection of house-made combinations.

The concept focuses on grilled proteins and "gustos," flavor profiles in the form of sauces, fresh vegetables and fruits, and fresh garnishes. It's located at 1935 Peachtree Street NE and will be open for lunch and dinner. See the full menu below.
