Oak Steakhouse, the second outpost for the Charleston-based restaurant, is now open in Alpharetta's Avalon development. Before you visit for a meal, check out the interiors and menu to get an idea of what to expect.
Executive chef Chad Anderson is serving Certified Angus Beef, but Oak's list of offerings branches out beyond red meat. Appetizers include hamachi crudo, pork shoulder ravioli, and lobster cocktail. Entrees feature cornmeal-crusted grouper, swordfish steak, and pappardelle bolognese.
For those who go to a steakhouse to eat, well, steak, Oak serves five "classic steaks" and two cuts from Master Purveyors of New York City. Traditional sauces, such as bearnaise, bordelaise, and horseradish cream, are available.
Oak is located at 950 Third Street in Alpharetta. Dinner is served Sunday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Scope the inside via the above gallery, and check out the full dinner menu below.
