1) Brookhaven: Souper Jenny, the popular soup and health food restaurant from Jenny Levison, is popping up in Brookhaven. Starting Tuesday, November 18, Levison will be serving her cuisine inside Nuts & Berries at 4274 Peachtree Road. Hours will be Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Souper Jenny is replacing the Brookhaven Bistro, which closed last week after seven years in business.
2) Alpharetta: North Carolina-based fast food chain Cook-Out is apparently adding a location on on Haynes Bridge Road, replacing a similar concept in Back Yard Burgers. The first Atlanta-area outpost for Cook-Out opened on Moreland Avenue in April, and plans for another location in the old Zesto space on Ponce de Leon Avenue are in the works.
