Cooks & Soldiers, the forthcoming restaurant from Castellucci Hospitality Group, will open its doors on Monday, November 24. Located in the Elan Westside building at 691 14th Street NW, it will serve cuisine inspired by the Basque region of France and Spain.
The menu will have pintxos, tapas-like sharable plates, as well as larger portions, or raciones. The kitchen, helmed by former Iberian Pig chef de cuisine Landon Thompson, will sport a wood fire grill — expect dishes like whole grilled fish and chuleton, large grilled ribsteak — alongside a bar program offering French and Spanish wines, Basque ciders, craft beer, and classic cocktails.
Cooks & Soldiers will be open for dinner daily: Sunday through Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight. The bar will stay open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
It's the fourth restaurant for Castellucci Hospitality Group. The company also operates The Iberian Pig in Decatur, Sugo in Johns Creek, and Double Zero Napoletana in Sandy Springs.
