Peach & The Porkchop is now open at 12040 Etris Road in Roswell. From owners Chuck Staley and Eddie Hoover and executive chef Matt Meacham, the restaurant mixes Northern and Southern fare, per Atlanta Magazine.
Matt Meacham — a Roswell local who worked at Alon's, Indigo, and Aspens — focuses on twenty-four "Northern-style" sandwiches, a tribute to Staley's favorite delis and sandwich shops growing up in Pittsburgh. Each sandwich-from the Garr-O corned beef to the Big Bologna-has at least half a pound of meat on it.
The Southern aspect of the restaurant comes through in the list of entrees. Look for options such as a bone-in Duroc pork chop, Southern fried chicken, and blackened red grouper. The extensive menu also includes starters, salads, burgers, sides, and desserts. In addition to beer wine and cocktails, the beverage program offers "adult milkshakes."
Peach & The Porkchop is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week: Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
