Last Word, a new Old Fourth Ward restaurant/bar from former Woodfire Grill owner Bernard Moussa, is aiming to open in the former P'cheen space this Friday. It was originally on track to open Tuesday, but the launch has been pushed back a few days.

Matt Palmerlee, who is a partner in Athens' The Branded Butcher, will work in the kitchen alongside chef Eddie Russell. Cole Just is in charge of the cocktail program.

Sample menu items include rabbit liver mousse; Georgia shrimp with charmoula, cauliflower, and garlic; and shared plates such as lamb belly shawarma.

Last Word is located in the Highland Walk apartment building at 701 Highland Avenue. The kitchen is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. 12:30 a.m., and communal dining reservations for parties of eight to 10 are accepted.
