Eat Me Speak Me's Jarrett Stieber Is Hosting Yakitori and Cheese Events

Eat Me Speak Me chef Jarrett Stieber, who hosts his pop-up Friday through Sunday at Candler Park's Gato Cafe, is planning a couple of side projects. Stieber will host Eat Me Yakitori on Thursday, November 13, and Eat Me Cheese Me on Tuesday, November 18.

Eat Me Yakitori will be "a casual, mingling social event featuring Japanese-style charcoal grilling, a spread of house-made condiments and pickles, and Idle Cellars wines," according to Stieber. The dinner, which starts at 8 p.m. and includes yakitori, wine, and a punch-style cocktail, is $60 per person.

At Eat Me Cheese Me, with Hope Adair of Gourmet Foods International, Stieber will cook up condiments and food pairings to go with Sweetgrass Dairy cheeses and Idle Cellars wines. Cost of the educational event is $30 per person and includes takeaway packet of information regarding at-home cheese and wine pairing. A portion of proceeds will go to The Giving Kitchen.

Both evenings will be held at Gato and feature Alex Morgan, aka DJ Mr. Mind. Reservations can be made by emailing eatmespeakme@gmail.com.
