Le Bilboquet, the upscale French bistro based out of New York City, plans to open for dinner on Thursday, November 20. The restaurant, centrally located in the Buckhead Atlanta mixed-use development, will add lunch service on Monday, December 1, and brunch on Sunday, December 7.
Menu items will include Cajun chicken served with pomme frites and green salad, crab-and-guacamole salad, steak au poivre, salmon tartare, and chocolate mousse. Executive chef Julien Jouhannaud, who worked under the Michelin star-awarded Alain Ducasse, will oversee the restaurant's culinary direction, according to a release. Leading the kitchen at the Atlanta location is chef de cuisine Jean Louis Sangare, who has been with Le Bilboquet for 15 years.
The restaurant's design will feature floor-length windows surrounding an L-shaped interior dining area and bar, a two-color terrazzo floor, pewter counter at the bar, blue velvet banquettes, vintage brass light fixtures. On the outdoor patio, look for woven rattan chairs and tables.
