With experience at BLT Steak and Local Three, chef Joe Macy is joining the team at Verde Taqueria. Macy is on board as executive chef at the Mexican-inspired restaurant, which has locations in Brookhaven and Westside.
In addition to his previous work in Atlanta restaurants, Macy has cooked at Magnolias in Charleston.
"I love the connection formed when someone is passionate about the food they produce, not just a chef, but a farmer as well," Macy said in a prepared statement. "I try to keep my food fairly simple, showcasing products I source from local farms in the best light possible."
