In the former P'Cheen space, Last Word is serving contemporary cuisine and cocktails on North Highland Avenue. The restaurant comes from Bernard Moussa, former owner of Woodfire Grill, and Matt Booth, who owns independent DVD emporium Videodrome.

Matt Palmerlee and Eddie Russell, previously of The Branded Butcher in Athens and Parish, respectively, are running the kitchen as co-chefs. The duo is preparing dishes such as rabbit liver mousse; Georgia shrimp with charmoula, cauliflower, and garlic; and shared plates such as lamb belly shawarma. Behind the bar, beverage director Cole Younger Just is mixing signature cocktails to go along with wine and craft beer.

Last Word, located at 701-5 Highland Avenue NE, is open Tuesday through Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to late night, with the kitchen closing at 12:30 a.m. Check out the food and drink menus below, and take a look inside via the above gallery.
