Rejoice, Georgia alums and Athens expats: Jittery Joe's will open an Atlanta outpost in the coming weeks. The beloved coffee shop is launching in the lobby of the Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta hotel.
The Jittery Joe's team hopes to be in business at the Ritz by early January.
Jittery Joe's coffee beans come from at least 18 different countries, and are micro-roasted in small batches to ensure maximal quality and care. Fifty percent of Jittery Joe's coffee is direct trade, according to a release, meaning the company's roast masters hold long-standing relationships with farmers worldwide. The Atlanta location will offer an array of coffee in light, medium and dark varieties; coffee beverages, pastries by 181 Sweets; and retail products including coffee beans and mugs.
It will be the 14th Jittery Joe's location in Georgia.
