GRANT PARK — Gravy Kitchen & Bar, a new comfort food emporium at 465 Boulevard, opens Saturday evening at 5 p.m. The restaurant serves "Southern-inspired dishes with a gourmet touch, all while staying true to the neighborhood feel and Southern charm of historic Grant Park," according to its Facebook page. BUCKHEAD — Buckhead Tavern, from Johnny Esposito Jr. and Ron Barber, is now open. Executive chef Nicole Christner created the menu and oversees the kitchen with her culinary team led by chef de cuisine Roberto Barth. The menu covers items like pan-seared wahoo with coconut red curry broth, forbidden black rice and grilled baby bok choy; Asian-braised short ribs; brined thick-cut pork chop with rosemary apple jus, truffled cauliflower/potato mash and broccoli rabe.
